Use the following link to sign up for the PADI Open water e-learning course: https://apps.padi.com/scuba-diving/elearning/?irra=18787. This is the classroom/theory portion of the course. It is ~$174.00 paid directly to PADI. This will take you about 8-12 hours to complete on line or off line if you have the PADI touch app on your tablet. This must be done before you start diving. The diving portion is 4 open water dives and 5 confined skills sessions. The first day will be shore dives 1 & 2 with the confined skills, this is a full day (8:30am~4:30pm). The second day will be boat dives 3 & 4 with skills, this is a half a day (8:30am~2pm). This price is $399.00 not including 3.5% tax.

PADI Open Water Course Referral

Complete all “Confined Water Skills” and theory portions of the OW Course @ your local PADI dive center. The remaining 4 OW dives to be completed at JADS with a PADI instructor.

For an open water referral, the diving portion is 4 open water dives. The first day will be shore dives 1 & 2 with the skills, this is a full day (8:30am~4:30pm), depending on how everyone completes the skills. Underwater Naturalist- To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of the underwater ocean world. Price: $250.00 excluding diving equipment needed. Dives: 2 dives. Time: 1 day.

Emergency First Responder (EFR)Learn how to do Adult CPR, AED and first aid. Price: $150.00/person.

Rescue Diver-Learn how to rescue a diver/snorkeler from the surface and bottom of the ocean. You must have or currently doing the adult EFR course. ELearning/theory: ~$165.00 paid directly to PADI.com. Our diving price: $350.00 excluding diving equipment needed. Dives: 10 confined scenarios/dives and 4 open water scenarios/dives. Divemaster-Learn how to become a PADI professional divemaster. This course will teach you the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of working in the dive industry. Pre-requisite: Advanced open water, rescue diver and 40 logged dives. ELearning/theory: ~$225.00 paid directly to PADI.com. Dive crew pack is $352.00. Our diving price: $800.00 excluding diving equipment needed. Do an internship with us for 2-4 weeks to learn the business. Dives: 5 water skills, diver rescue scenario, 5 dive skills workshop, 5 divemaster conducted workshops, and 5 practical diver assessments.

Boat-To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving from a boat. Price: $250.00 excluding diving equipment needed. Dives: 2 dives. Time: 1 day.

Digital Underwater Photographer– To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of digital underwater photography. Theory: eLearning at PADI.com price is $165.00 paid directly to PADI. Our diving price: $250.00 excluding diving equipment needed but includes camera usage. You will get a copy of all pictures taken. Dives: 2 dives. Time: 1 day.

Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) – To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of using the diver propulsion vehicle. Price: $300.00 excluding diving equipment needed but includes the usage of the DPV. Dives: 2 dives. Time: 1-2 days.

Drift- To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of drift diving. Price: $250.00 excluding diving equipment. Dives: 2 dives. Time: 1 day.

 

Underwater Navigator- To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of how to navigate naturally and using a compass underwater. Price: $250.00 excluding diving equipment needed. Dives: 2 dives. Time: 1 day.

Fish Identification- To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of identifying fish underwater. You will also be registered with REEF, http://www.reef.org/ , to be able to do fish surveys all over the Caribbean. Price: $275.00 excluding diving equipment needed but includes the theory session Dives: 2 dives. Time: 1-2 days.

Deep- To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of deep diving. Price: $450.00 excluding diving equipment needed. Dives: 4 dives. Time: 2 days.

Enriched Air (Nitrox) – To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of using enriched air while diving. Price: ~$240.00 paid directly to PADI.com via eLearning. Dives: Not required. We will teach you how to use the enriched air analyser. Time: 2 hours.

Night Diver- To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of how to navigate the underworld world at night. Price: $375.00 excluding diving equipment needed. Dives: 3 dives. Time: 2 nights.

Wreck- To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of how to navigate through a wreck safely. Price: $450.00 excluding diving equipment needed. Dives: 4 dives. Time: 2-3 days.

Peak Performance Buoyancy- To familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of how to control your buoyancy underwater. Price: $250.00 excluding diving equipment needed. Dives: 2 dives. Time: 1 day.

Coral Watch/Coral Health Chart- To determine the healthiness of corals surrounding islands by using a chart. Price: $300.00 excluding diving equipment needed but includes the chart and theory session. After this you will be able to survey corals and record them on the coral watch website http://www.coralwatch.org . Dives: 2 dives. Time: 2 days.

Reefcheck Surveyor- To determine the healthiness of a reef by recording indicator species and various substrates. Price: $450.00 excluding diving equipment needed but includes the charts and theory sessions. You will be register with Reefcheck as a surveyor, http://www.reefcheck.org/ . Dives: 2 dives. Time: 2 days.

AWARE Coral Reef Conservation- Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course provides the knowledge base for proper interaction while touring a reef. For divers and non-divers. Price: $150.00 excludes snorkel equipment but includes the theory session. Dives: no dives required but 1 snorkelling trip. Time: 1 day.

Project AWARE- To familiarize divers and non-divers with the plight of worldwide aquatic ecosystems and to describe what individuals can do to help protect them. For divers and non-divers. Refresher

REFRESHER DIVES: These are shore dives to Mangel Halto and Rocky Beach. Refresher dives are recommended for someone who hasn’t been diving in more than one year or for someone who needs to get familiar with diving again. You will be refreshed on how to set up your tank and other equipment. You will be doing some skills in the shallow part and then off to the dive. One tank refresher includes all equipment needed, instructor and tax is $102.47. Two tank refresher includes all equipment needed, instructor and tax is $181.13.
